A Great Treadmill!
I did a lot of research before deciding on this treadmill. I was looking for one that would be durable for running and that had features to keep me interested while running. I normally run outside, so running on a treadmill is a different experience. I am pleased with the treadmill and ifit live. I will log many miles this winter! Everything went well - from order to delivery, no problems? My husband put it together in about an hour with minimal assistance from me. I will say that the toughest part was getting it inside the house. Treadmill is quiet and all features work well!

I looked at many treadmills before deciding on this one and am really pleased with my decision. It came down to a lower priced unit and the elite 9500 pro . The 10" display, wireless web interface, and the polar heart rate monitor sold me. Packing and shipping were impressive and the unit was easy to assemble .
The wireless interface to ifit is awesome. The web workouts download at a touch of a button on screen and the 10" color display graphically displaying status. Much better than a monotone LCD screen or tiny color display. What really makes this cutting edge though are the map workouts . I downloaded the 4 mile las Vegas strip workout and the 10" display showed a google earth street view where you walk or run down the middle of las Vegas blvd right pass the casinos. Really made he workout interesting! You can even make your own maps and the unit will display the street view of your route as well adjust the incline to match the terrain. These features exceeded my expectations.
Spend the extra money and buy this unit. You will not be disappointed or get bored with the same old workouts.

appears to be a great machine
The treadmill is great. However, we had problems with the ANDROID interface and are awaiting a replacement. The IFIT when it works is wonderful.
The belt feels great and the machine is solid.
The question that I have for the engineers is " WHY IS THE ENTIRE MACHINE DISABLED" when the android browser firmware has an issue. You should have an emergency USB reboot so the treadmill will work manually.
It's like having your new BMW totally inoperative because the power seat it stuck

Gentle on Joints and a Great Investment!
The people at Nordic Trak are very knowlegeable and helpful, the order and delivery process was seamless. As a physical therapist I was hoping to have a quality treadmill that was easy to use and felt good on my knees and hips for running at home. This treadmill is very easy to run on and is great for anyone looking to get a treadmill. Gentle on joints and a great investment!

Nice treadmill if you're 5'4" or taller
Really nice treadmill, the iFit Live is really nice for augmenting what could be a boring workout routine. Only problem I've seen so far is the angle of the screen. It's angled too far up and my 5'2" wife can only see the screen clearly if she's standing (not moving) at the front of the treadmill and looking closely at the screen. When she walking or running on the treadmill at a normal location the display on the screen becomes a sort of "negative image" and is mostly unviewable by her. If NordicTrack could make the screen angle adjustable this would be a fantastic (5-star) treadmill. But, unless that can happen, the display (and major selling point) of this treadmill is worthless if you're not gifted in height.

Great price, easy payments, good product, easy to assemble, quick delivery. The treadmill is everything it is advertised to be. I am very pleased. I have only had the treadmill a couple of months, but use it between fitness classes and weight-lifting for a good cardio workout. I walk during the warm months and did not want to lose my momentum with that during the winter.

Better than expected
I took a chance and bought the elite 9500 instead of spending big money on a Landice.
Had an initial problem with the lower manual mode controls however one call and a few days later a technician came out and quickly resolved the issue ( a loose wiring harness). While you can tell it's not the quality of high end machines the treadmill performs well. The adjustable firmness works great. My wife has some orthopedic problems and finds it comfortable to walk on. I'm a 55 Y/O runner and the machine absorbs impact well at the medium setting. A few negatives if you are smaller than 5'5'' the LCD screen is problematic. When pausing the machine it stops kind of abrupt. The
IfIT maps often don't download (but cool). All and All it's a good machine for the money, very sturdy, good feel, and lots of features.

I'm in love.
We just got this treadmill delivered 3 days ago and so far-impressive! My husband and I have both used it every day.
It's big and solid and feels very heavy-duty. The screen is beautiful and the options are AMAZING! I plugged in my iphone and it sounded good through the built-in speakers. The fan is very nice and blows out plenty of air, keeping me much more comfortable than I expected.
We drew maps on ifit right away. I drew a map of little Ticul, Mexico (where I visited several years ago) and ran with the street view. My husband put in the neighborhood where he grew up and ran through town. It was so cool!
I tried the Jillian trainer (Get Fit, Level 8) ... and also loved it. There are so many workout options, from ifit live to the pre-programmed workouts. Ifit live has an amazing number of options and there are pre-programmed ones in the following categories: calorie burn, high intensity, speed training, and incline workouts. I can't wait to try them all.
The only thing I can say that's not glowing is that the track is a little heavy to lift into the fold-up position. I guess that's just part of having a really heavy-duty treadmill. I thought the "easylift assist" feature would somehow make it easier, but not really. That being said, I would buy it again in a second. It was money well spent and I love it!

Exceeded my expectations
This is my first treadmill and it was an excellent purchase. I did a lot of research before purchasing this one and I ended up making an good decision in my purchase. Like any new purchase, there was a learning curve in using the treadmill and with iFit, but it's all working great. I'm really enjoying the variety in working out (drawing my own maps, using the My Trainer and World Tour features, etc.). There's even versatility to manually change speed, incline and intensity with the pre-programmed workouts. I love the various map views as well. I usually don't exercise a lot but really want to lose some weight and become healthier, and so far I have been motivated to work out a lot.

As a former VP of marketing for a fitness equipment company, and a recognized industry expert, I find the NordicTrack Elite 9500 PRO to be an exceptional machine. In my Treadmill Reviews I rate it as a "Best Buy" for innovation and quality components. For the price the Elite 9500 PRO out specs the competition with a commercial grade 3.8 HP motor, 3" rollers, 22" x 60" running surface, and an advanced shock absorption system. In addition, you get iFit Live motivational technology and a 10" display with an Android browser. This is one of the most impressive packages you will find on any treadmill.
